Adaptive Identity
I explored a custom identity system for Community’s leaders, using the brand’s iconic flag as a starting point and creating a unique visual identifier for each individual. The goal was to push the existing brand language into something more personal while still feeling connected to the larger Community identity. Ultimately, the concepts moved a little too far from the established brand guidelines to move forward, but the exercise was a great opportunity to explore how a strong brand system could flex, evolve, and create something uniquely personal.

One of the biggest takeaways from this project was the value of pushing yourself creatively, even when an idea doesn’t ultimately make it to the finish line. It’s important to explore the boundaries of a brand and see how far the system can stretch, but just as important to recognize when you’ve pushed it too far. Great design isn’t always about how far you can take an idea, but knowing when to pull it back. Never stop challenging the boundaries, but understand that there’s a time and place for every idea.
